KINTSUGI WORKSHOP FOR COUPLES IN DUBAI

If you are tired of dinner and a film, a kintsugi workshop is a calmer, more memorable date in Dubai. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, and doing it together is quietly romantic: you sit side by side, mend something cracked, and watch it become more beautiful for having been broken.

Why it works as a date

It slows you both down. Phones go away, hands get busy, and the task gives you something easy to talk over. The metaphor does the rest, because a couple repairing something together, carefully, with gold in the seams, does not need the point explained.

What you do together

Over 90 to 120 minutes you repair a real broken ceramic piece using the traditional gold-repair method and take your finished work home. No experience or artistic skill is needed, and everything is provided. You can each make your own piece, or mend one piece together.

Private or shared sessions

Book a private session for just the two of you, or join a small public group session. Private works well for anniversaries, proposals and quiet celebrations. Sessions run at Meydan in Dubai or at a venue, from AED 400 per person.

Questions people ask

Is a kintsugi workshop a good date in Dubai?

Yes. It is calm, hands-on and a little different from dinner and a film. You sit together, repair a broken ceramic piece with gold, and leave with something you made and a quiet shared metaphor about mending things. Couples tend to remember it.

How long does a couples session take?

Usually 90 to 120 minutes. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.

Do we each make our own piece?

You can each repair your own piece to take home, or work on one piece together. We set it up whichever way you prefer when you book.

How do we book a private session for two?

Message us to arrange a private couples session at Meydan or a venue, or join one of the small public group sessions. A free chemistry call is not needed for workshops, you just pick a time.
