Kintsugi Dubai®

Kintsugi team building and corporate events in Dubai

Kintsugi is a team building activity in Dubai where your team repairs broken ceramics with real gold, leaving every seam visible instead of hiding it. It runs 60 to 120 minutes for 8 to 120 people, at your office, your venue, or our studio at Meydan Grandstand, and nobody needs craft experience. Unlike an escape room or a desert safari, there is nothing to win and nobody is put on the spot: people work slowly, side by side, and each person leaves holding a piece they mended themselves. Teams from Google, Accenture, American Express and the World Economic Forum have sat through it.

Four ways companies run it

Team workshop

8–30 people90–120 min

Everyone repairs their own piece. The facilitator opens with the philosophy behind the craft, then the room works in near silence for most of the session. It ends with each person holding something they broke and mended themselves.

Your office, a venue, or our studio

Conference activation

30–120 peopleRolling, 2–6 hours

A staffed table people join and leave in waves. Delegates gild a pre-broken piece in ten minutes and take it away. Built for footfall at exhibitions, summits and festivals.

Leadership offsite

6–20 peopleHalf day

The workshop paired with facilitated reflection led by an ICF-certified coach. The repair becomes the material for a conversation about pressure, failure and what a team keeps after a hard quarter.

Client entertaining

6–40 people2 hours

A hosted evening for clients or VIP guests. Quieter and more considered than a dinner, and every guest leaves with an object rather than a branded pen.

Common questions

How many people can take part?

From 6 to around 120. Up to 30 works as a single seated workshop with one facilitator and assistants. Above that we run it as a rolling activation with several stations, so people join and leave in waves rather than all starting together.

How long does a corporate kintsugi session take?

A seated team workshop runs 90 to 120 minutes. A conference activation runs anywhere from two to six hours with delegates spending about ten minutes each. A leadership offsite with facilitated reflection takes half a day.

Can you come to our office?

Yes. Most corporate sessions happen at the client's office or chosen venue anywhere in Dubai and the wider UAE. We bring everything, including table protection, and clear it afterwards. All we need is table space and access about an hour before the start.

What does a corporate kintsugi event cost in Dubai?

Group sessions start from AED 500 per person and the rate falls as numbers rise. The final quote depends on group size, duration, venue and whether you want coaching-led reflection built in. Tell us the headcount and date and you will get a fixed price.

Do people need any craft experience?

None. Most participants have never repaired anything before. The technique is taught in the first few minutes and the facilitator works the room throughout. The gold is forgiving, and imperfect seams are the point rather than a mistake.

Is the repaired piece safe to use afterwards?

Pieces are finished with a food-safe adhesive and are decorative-safe immediately. We recommend hand washing and using them for dry goods, and the facilitator explains the aftercare before everyone leaves.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for a standard team workshop. December and the run-up to Ramadan fill early, and a conference activation with custom quantities needs a month.
